Bogdan, with no experience, ended up as a crab fisherman.

Working on a crab boat without experience is possible
Every year, dozens of young people with no maritime experience come to Norwegian crab boats. Some have previously worked in construction, some in factories, and some were simply looking for an opportunity to earn good money and a change of scenery. And almost all of them manage.
The work is hard, but straightforward. All the necessary training takes place on site: they explain, demonstrate, and supervise. The main thing is to be willing to learn, not slack off on watch, and respect the team.
On a crab boat, it's not so much diplomas that matter as adequacy and endurance. If you are able to wake up on time, follow orders, and not complain, you already have a better chance than half of the newbies.
We see this every season. Guys with no experience work their first trip, earn honest money, gain sea experience, and then they can move up: to trawlers, longliners, or offshore.
If you're wondering whether you have enough skills, know this: many before you came with nothing and managed.
